Happy New Year!

Now that I can see how many visitors come to our blog regularly I feel the pressure to post more often. Life is now in a bit of a lull, so I have time, but I know we'll go back to the craziness soon. It feels like the holidays officially end tomorrow and then we can all hunker down for a long winter. Normally I would hate this time of year, such a long stretch until April when we go to Florida, but there's so much to be excited about!

First, Jason and I will be a Zia and Zio very soon (aunt and uncle, in Italian) and Joey will be getting his first cousin. I honestly expected this baby would have been here by now, but we're all still waiting anxiously.

Second, we're going full-steam ahead with plans to have baby #2 (second and definitely last baby for us). I hope we're blessed like we were with Joey, there really wasn't much work involved in his conception...we were married at the end of March 2005 and I was pregnant by July!

It feels like our entire world has done a complete roundabout in just under a week. I'm looking forward to getting back into our normal routine, and to welcoming a new member to our family sometime in the future, something I couldn't say for sure just a week ago. It's a gamble, since we really don't know what's "wrong" with Joey, but we're usually pretty lucky...we did get married in Vegas after all. And how could we not have another child, look how gorgeous the first one is:
